Landers-Wilburn Makes History for Women's Cross Country

IRVING, Texas - Austin College runner Aimee Landers-Wilburn made history for the 'Roo women's cross country program on Saturday morning at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship Meet, becoming the first Austin College woman to earn All-Conference with her 12th place finish.

Landers-Wilburn came in with a time of 23:12.30 in the 6K race hosted by the University of Dallas, also breaking the Austin College freshman record in the event by more than two minutes. The 'Roos also got a strong finish from Danielle Lozano at the meet, with the senior coming in with a time of 26:11.50 to place 33rd overall to place both of Austin College's runners among the best finishers of the day.
