Miller Named SCAC Defensive Player of the Week

SUWANEE, Ga. - Austin College women's basketball player Avory Miller has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week following a pair of outstanding performances last weekend, the league office has announced.

'Roo Swimming Closes Regular Season at Centenary

SHREVEPORT, La. — The Austin College men’s and women’s swimming teams secured multiple victories in relay and individual events Saturday during a double dual meet against Centenary College and the University of St. Thomas. The women were bested by Centenary 90-57 and UST 75-73, while the me claimed a 114-65 victory against the Celts and fell 128-52 against UST.

'Roo Women's Hoops Notches Second Straight Victory

SHERMAN, Texas - Trinity Williams and Lexi Martin each scored 14 points to power Austin College to a 64-53 victory over LeTourneau University on Saturday evening at Hughey Gym. The 'Roos, who improve to 7-8 overall and 4-2 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play, used a pivotal surge in the third quarter to break open a close game, outscoring the YellowJackets 21-13 in the period to secure the conference win.
