Reagan Brinkley - Softball

SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo softball player Reagan Brinkley.

Brinkley, a sophomore infielder from Valley View, had a huge weekend at the dish as the 'Roos took two of three from Dallas in the team's home-opening series, ending each of the first two games via the run rule with walk-off triples in both contests. Brinkley finished the weekend batting .600 with a .583 on-base percentage and a 1.100 slugging percentage, driving in eight runs while scoring a pair and collecting two triples and a double. Through eight games so far this year, Brinkley is batting .370 with nine RBI, and boasts a .356 average in her career.
