BRIDGEPORT, Pa. - Austin College women's water polo players Brooke Le and Valery Piachonkina have been tabbed as the CWPA Division III Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week for their outstanding performances at the CWPA Division III Championships, the league office has announced.

Le, a senior from Flower Mound, scored 12 goals in three games as the 'Roos repeated as CWPA Division III Champions. Le was also named both the CWPA Division III Most Valuable Player, as well as the tournament MVP. Le scored four goals in the opening round game of the tournament, and followed that up with five tallies in the semifinal round. Le capped off the tournament with three goals in an 18-7 victory over Augustana in the championship.

Piachonkina, a senior from Castro Valley, Calif., helped the No. 4-ranked 'Roos secure their second straight conference title. The four-year starter in goal had four saves in the team's opening round win, and added seven saves while splitting time in the semifinals. Piachonkina capped off the weekend with 10 stops against Augustana.
