LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. –Austin College women's basketball player Bryce Frank has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the league office has announced.
Frank, a senior forward from Granbury, recorded a double-double in the team's season opening win against Howard Payne. Frank scored 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, while also coming away with four steals and handing out a pair of assists. She hit 11-of-15 shots from the field, including hitting each of her final 10 attempts in the game.
Frank is the reigning SCAC Player of the Year, and was selected as a second team preseason All-American by D3Hoops.com. She won the SCAC Player of the Week award four times last season.
Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
