SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College men's water polo players Dylan McArthur and Sebastian Scheier have been named the MPSF East Player and Newcomer of the Week, respectively, the league office has announced.

McArthur, a senior from Missouri City, was named MPSF East Delfina Player of the Week after he accumulated eight goals and four drawn exclusions as the 'Roos battled DI Air Force and Cal State Fullerton, as well as DII Biola and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, currently ranked No. 2 in Division III. McArthur scored four goals against Air Force and two each against Biola and Claremont. This is the first career MPSF weekly award for McArthur.

Scheier, a freshman from La Palma, Calif., was named the MPSF East S&R Sport Newcomer of the Week after scoring his first collegiate goal, on his way to his first career hat trick, as the 'Roos battled Biola. Scheier added a goal at Cal State Fullerton. He also totaled eight drawn exclusions over four games, two each versus Biola, Fullerton, Air Force, and C-M-S. This is the first career MPSF award for Scheier.
