SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College men's water polo team is headed to California this weekend to compete in the MPSF Championships, opening things up on Friday against fellow Division III foe Penn State-Behrend.

The 'Roos take on Behrend at 9:00 a.m. Pacific time on Friday morning, after going 2-0 against their opening round competitor during the season. Austin College won both of those games, earning a 21-10 win on September 11 and a 20-6 victory on October 23. Austin College is 6-8 overall on the year, but 6-2 against Division III opponents.

The winner of Friday's game will become the No. 5-seed and take on host school Stanford University, the No. 4-seed, at 2:45 p.m. Pacific on Friday afternoon. The loser will be the No. 6-seed, and face off against No. 3-seed UCLA.
