ATLANTA, Ga. - Austin College football player John Aldridge has been named the Southern Athletic Association Special Teams Player of the Week, the league office has announced.

Aldridge, a sophomore from Richardson, remained perfect on the year in Austin College's 27-17 win over Millsaps in the team's lone home game of the season on Saturday. Aldridge was 3-of-3 on point after attempts and made both of his field goals, including one from 28 yards and another from 32 to help the 'Roos seal the victory. For the year, Aldridge has made all 10 of his extra point efforts and is 4-of-4 on field goal attempts.
