SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo women's water polo player Cory McGrath.

McGrath, a senior from Flower Mound, earned CWPA Player of the Week accolades after helping the 'Roos go 4-0 last weekend in a quartet of conference games. McGrath tallied 21 goals in all over the course of the weekend, including erupting for nine scores in the team's first game on Saturday against Grove City. She added six goals against Penn State Behrend, four against Connecticut College, and also had two in the team's victory over Wheaton.
