It's another full weekend for Austin College athletics, as the 'Roo cheer team is headed to NCA Nationals while the baseball, softball, and tennis teams will all be in action as well.

The Austin College cheer team is traveling to Daytona Beach, Fla., this weekend to compete at NCA Nationals, were they finished sixth in their division last year and will be looking to challenge for the top spot this year. Competition begins on Thursday, and the 'Roos will also be competing on Saturday.

The Austin College tennis teams will be home on Saturday, as the 'Roos play host to Concordia with both the men's and women's teams taking to the court at 1:00 p.m. at the Russell Tennis Center. The 'Roos will also be celebrating Senior Day prior to the match.

The 'Roo baseball team heads to Irving this weekend, where they'll be taking on the University of Dallas in a three-game Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference series. The teams will open with a doubleheader at noon on Saturday, and wrap up the weekend at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Finally, the 'Roo softball team will also be taking on the University of Dallas this weekend, but they'll be hosting the Crusaders at Sherman High for a trio of games. First up is a 7:00 p.m. contest on Saturday, with the 'Roos celebrating Senior Night prior to first pitch. Austin College and UD will then take to the field for a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at noon.
