SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo women's tennis player Bailey Standokes.

Standokes, a junior from Haslet, was 2-0 in singles play as the 'Roos took on Texas Lutheran and the University of Dallas last weekend. Standokes earned a 6-0, 6-3 win playing number three singles against the Bulldogs on Saturday, and then turned around and helped lead the 'Roos to the team's first win of the year, a 4-3 victory over Dallas. She teamed with Karsyn Clouse to get an 8-2 line one doubles victory, and added a 6-3, 6-0 win playing line three singles to help clinch the win.
