The Austin College women's basketball team heads to the SCAC Tournament and the 'Roo softball team heads out on a four-day road trip, while men's and women's tennis are home for the second weekend in a row and the baseball team prepares for its home opener this week in 'Roo athletics.

The 'Roo women's hoops team is headed to Shreveport this weekend to compete in the SCAC Tournament, where they enter the field as the No. 5-seed in the six-team bracket. The 'Roos will take on No. 4-seed Schreiner in the opening around, with tip-time set for 5:00 p.m. on the campus of Centenary College. If the 'Roos top the Mountaineers, they'll advance to Saturday's semifinal round against No. 1-seed Trinity.

The softball team is headed to Tennessee this weekend, taking on Rhodes College and Mississippi University for Women on Saturday, facing MUW at 10:00 a.m. and then competing against the host Lynx at 2:00 p.m. On Sunday, the 'Roos will take on those same two teams, squaring off against MUW at 10:00 a.m. and Rhodes at noon. On Monday, Austin College heads to Maryville, Tenn., where they'll face the Maryville Scots for a doubleheader at 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Finally, the team will take on Sewanee on Tuesday on the last leg of the road trip with game times set for 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

The Austin College tennis teams will be home on Saturday, as East Texas Baptist University comes to Sherman to take on the 'Roo men and women. Those matches are set to begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Jordan Family Courts at the Russell Tennis Center.

The 'Roo baseball team is off this upcoming weekend, but on Tuesday they'll be hosting Texas Wesleyan for the home opener at Baker Field. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
