The 2021-22 athletics year comes to a close this weekend for Austin College, as the 'Roos will be celebrating all of the student-athletes in 'RooNation at the Athletics Convocation and the women's water polo team heads to California to take part in the Division III Championship.

Athletics Convocation will take place on Thursday evening in Sid Richardson Gym, with each athletics program being recognized with team and athletics department awards. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. and will be live-streamed on CollegeTVTicket.com.

On Friday, the No. 4-ranked 'Roo women's water polo team heads to California, where they'll take part in the inaugural USA Water Polo Division III Championship. The four-team tournament will feature top-seeded Pomona-Pitzer, which enters ranked No. 1 in the nation and will host, as well as No. 2-ranked Whittier College and No. 9-ranked Augustana. The 'Roos will take on Whittier on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. (Central), and then take on either Augustana or Pomona-Pitzer on Sunday.
