This Week in 'Roo Athletics

It's the postseason for women's water polo, while the 'Roo baseball, tennis, and softball teams continue to wind down the regular season both at home and on the road this weekend.

The Austin College women's water polo team is headed to Grove City, Pa. this weekend for the CWPA Division III Championship, with two berths in the national championship tournament up for grabs. The 'Roos enter as the No. 1-seed both overall and out of the West Region of the CWPA, and will open play at 5:20 p.m. (Eastern) on Thursday as they await the winner of the opening round game between Carthage College and Connectucut College. The CWPA Division III Championship continues through Friday and Saturday, with times and opponents to be determined. All games can be streamed via pay-per-view online access, with links available on the team's schedule page.

The 'Roo tennis teams open up a busy weekend at home on Thursday, taking on Colorado College at 5:30 p.m. Both the men's and women's teams will also be home against the University of St. Thomas on Saturday at 10:00 a.m., and the 'Roos will celebrate Senior Day on Sunday at home against UT-Dallas. That match is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.

The Austin College softball team plays its final home series of the season this weekend as well, taking on the University of Dallas on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, the 'Roos and Crusaders will play a doublehader beginning at noon at Old Settlers Park, with another doubleheader on Sunday also beginning at noon.

The baseball team heads back on the road this weekend as they head to Kerrville, where they'll face off against Schreiner in a three-game series on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, the 'Roos take the field for a single game set to begin at 2:00 p.m., before playing twice on Saturday starting at noon.
