It's a busy weekend for 'Roo athletics, with all of Austin College spring sports programs taking to the courts, fields, and the pool both in Sherman and on the road.

The 'Roo baseball team gets things started as they open a weekend SCAC series at the University of St. Thomas on Friday, with a single game scheduled for 2:00 p.m. in Houston. The two teams will wrap up their weekend with a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at noon.

The Austin College women's water polo team, currently ranked No. 5 in all of Division III, heads to Ohio for four games on the campus of Wittenberg University beginning on Saturday. The 'Roos take on the host school at 12:00 p.m., and will then take on Carthage at 5:30 p.m. later in the day. On Sunday, Austin College squares off against Augustana at 7:00 a.m. before wrapping up the weekend with a 10:30 a.m. game against Macalester.

The 'Roo men's and women's tennis teams are on the road this weekend as well, taking on Hardin-Simmons at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday before heading to McMurry, where they'll take to the courts at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.

Finally, the Austin College softball team is hope for a SCAC series against St. Thomas, opening things up at noon on Saturday in game one of a doubleheader at Old Settlers Park, and then the 'Roos and Celts will finish up on Sunday with a single game set for a 12:00 p.m. first pitch.
