Kangaroo Cross Country Takes 4th at OLLU Invite 5K
All six runners place in top 22; finish 2nd out of 4 SCAC schools
SAN ANTONIO, Tex. - With Schreiner University, Southwestern University, and Trinity University in attendance, the Austin College Women's Cross Country Team continued their aggressive start to the season, finishing fourth overall; good for 2nd best out of SCAC schools.
Madison Galvan ran a 20:56 5K (6:44/mile), and took 12th overall (8th in SCAC schools), while Emma Page (21:46, 7:00/mile), Alex Quinn (21:49, 7:01/mile), and Eden Llamas (21:50, 7:02/mile) all finished within four seconds of one another in the top-20 at 16th, 18th, and 19th respectively.
Haleigh Hahn and Sydney Perez were not far behind their compatriots, scoring 21st and 22nd with times of 22:14 (7:09/mile) and 22:22 (7:12). In all, the 'Roos outran all but 8 other SCAC runners.
Austin College is off until October 1st where they will travel to Marshall, Texas to race in the ETBU meet at 8:00 AM.
