Dimitri Named CWPA Player of the Week

SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College women's water polo player Joslyn Dimitri has been named the CWPA Division III Player of the Week for her stellar play in leading the 'Roos to a 4-0 weekend, the conference office has announced.

Dimitri, a sophomore utility player from Cour d'Alene, Idaho, was outstanding as the 'Roos stayed perfect in CWPA play and locked up the regular season championship and the No. 1-seed in the conference tournament with wins over Grove City, Connecticut College, Wheaton College, and Washington & Jefferson. Dimitri scored in all four games as the 'Roos finish the regular season 8-0 in CWPA play, including tallying three times against both Grove City and Connecticut College, and twice in a battle against W&J. Dimitri finished the weekend with nine goals, six steals, five ejections drawn, and three assists.
