
Women's Water Polo Sweeps CWPA Weekly Honors
SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College women's water polo team swept all three CWPA Division III weekly honors, as Joslyn Dimitri was named the Player of the Week, Ashley Chand was honored as the Defensive Player of the Week, and Sophia King was named the league's Rookie of the Week, the organization has announced.

Dimitri, sophomore utility player from Cour d'Alene, Idaho, earned her Player of the Week recognition following an outstanding weekend against three NCAA Division I teams and one Division II opponent, scoring five goals in the four contests with eight ejections drawn.
Chand, a senior center defender from Southlake, was named the Defensive Player of the Week for her outstanding weekend against the team's tough slate of opponents, coming up with 10 steals and six shot blocks in Austin College's four games in Virginia.
King, a freshman attacker from Tomball, rounds out the team's weekly award winners as the Rookie of the Week after a collegiate debut that saw her score four goals, including three tallies on only three shots against Virginia Military Institute as the VMI Invite.
