COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Austin College volleyball player Riley Abernethy has been named as an All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference performer for her outstanding 2022 season, the league office has announced.

Abernethy, a junior outside hitter from Flower Mound, was a second team All-SCAC selection following a strong all-around season for the 'Roos. Abernethy finished the season with a team-best average of 2.09 kills-per-set, and her 232 kills ranked 16th in the conference. She also finished fifth in the conference with 43 service aces in 33 matches played, and was third on the team with 2.79 digs-per-set. For the year, she totaled 310 digs, which was good for the second most on the team. Abernethy also had 44 total blocks and a .154 attacking percentage.
