SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College volleyball team swept visiting Texas A&M-Texarkana 3-0 on Tuesday night, and in the process earned career coaching victory number 700th for Ed Garza, including the 650th during his tenure with the 'Roos. Austin College is now 14-16 overall on the year.

The 'Roos helped Garza reach this milestone with wins of 25-17, 25-11, 25-18 over the Eagles, as Austin College hit .264 as a team compared to -.031 for Texarkana. Riley Abernethy had a big match for the 'Roos, finishing with eight kills and 11 digs, both of which led Austin College in the match. It was a balanced attack for Austin College as the 'Roos racked up 38 kills as a team, with 12 players getting at least one kill in the victory. Olivia Linton finished with six and boasted a .400 hitting percentage, and Victoria Smith, TJ Folse, Brianna Barch, and Jaiden Tocquigny had four kills apiece. 

Madison Manning paced the 'Roos with 13 assists and added four digs, while Brianne Tseng chipped in 12 assists and six digs. Tatum Torres and Alyssa Holloway each had 10 digs for Austin College, while Smith finished with three total blocks and Abernethy had four service aces in the win.
