'Roos Sweep USAO on Senior Night

SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College volleyball team swept the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in the team's final home match of the season, as the 'Roos celebrated Senior Night for setter Brooklyn Talley and libero Mari Prazak. The 'Roos are now 18-4 overall on the year.

The 'Roos took match by scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-17 as Austin College had to fend off the Drovers multiple times throughout the night. The 'Roos and USAO were all square at 15 apiece in the opening set before Austin College took control, and after Austin College took a 17-10 lead in the opening set, the Drovers surged ahead 22-21 before the 'Roos scored four straight to go on top 2-0. Austin College finally took control in the third to earn the sweep.

Riley Abernethy and Olivia Linton each had 11 kills to pace Austin College, with Abernethy also adding 12 digs in the victory. Aubree McCune led Austin College with 20 assists, while Talley added 12 in her final match on Jim Rolfe Court. Prazak paced all players with 27 digs, while Mattie Duncan had five block assists for Austin College to go along with seven kills.
