BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Austin College volleyball team picked up a win in three sets at Howard Payne University on Thursday evening, bringing the team's record to 16-19 overall on the season.

The 'Roos took the match by scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-16 thanks in large part to a team hitting percentage of .271, as the team had just 13 attacking errors on the night. Shelbi Cook led the way with 11 kills and Karson Dykes added 10 while boasting a .429 hitting percentage. Kynleigh Brown had nine kills in 15 attempts with zero attacking errors, giving her a .600 hitting percentage in the match, while Hannah Arbaugh contributed eight kills and nine digs.

Brooklyn Talley had 21 assists and 12 digs, and Allison Pierce chipped in 12 assists. Mari Prazak led the way defensively with 17 digs, and Cassidy Watson added nine in the non-conference victory.
