The Austin College volleyball team dropped its first set 25-12 and could never recover against No. 4-ranked Colorado College, falling 3-0 in Colorado Springs on Friday night. The 'Roos are now 7-5 overall and 0-1 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play.
The 'Roos fell by scores of 25-12, 25-19, 25-13 in the match as the team had a -.045 hitting percentage collectively. Rebekah Bowden's five kills led the way for Austin College, while Katie Ingle had 15 assists and Madi McVay had 17 digs. The 'Roos will be looking to bounce back on Saturday when they take on the University of Dallas and Centenary College for two more SCAC matches in Colorado Springs.
