Volleyball Opens SCAC Play with Victory

The Austin College volleyball team picked up a victory in its first Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match of the season, topping the University of Dallas 3-0.

The Austin College volleyball team picked up a victory in its first Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match of the season, topping the University of Dallas 3-0. The 'Roos are now 10-7 overall and 1-0 in SCAC play.

Shelby Eaves led the 'Roos with 17 kills and added 12 digs in the victory as the 'Roos won 25-18, 25-22, 26-24. Madison Lee added nine kills with zero attacking errors, and Kelsey Klingler had 24 assists and 10 digs. Rachel Fusselman had a team-best 17 digs in the win.

The 'Roos are back in action Saturday against Colorado College and Centenary.
