The Austin College volleyball team completed its weekend sweep at the Southwestern Halloween Invitational in Georgetown on Saturday, topping Huston-Tillotson 3-0 and East Texas Baptist 3-2 to finish the weekend with a 4-0 record. The 'Roos are now 23-12 overall this season as they head to next weekend's Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament as the No. 4-seed.
The 'Roos opened up play on Saturday with a 25-15, 25-23, 25-11 win over Huston-Tillotson before battling ETBU to a hard fought 27-25, 20-25, 20-25, 25-23, 15-9 victory in their final match of the weekend.
