CLARKSVILLE, Ark. - The Austin College men's and women's tennis teams dropped their road match at the University of Ozarks on Saturday, with the men falling 9-0 while the women were edged 5-4 by the Eagles.

On the men's side, the team of Trey Salyer and Evan Pezirtzoglou fell on line one by a score of 8-3 in doubles competition, while Luke Henley and Joel Colunga dropped their line two match 8-1. Mario Diaz and Zeneth Mata were bested 8-0 playing line three. Salyer fell 4-6, 2-6 on line one in singles play, and Henley fell 6-7, 3-6 playing on line two. Pezirtzoglou was topped 4-6, 2-6 on line three, and Colunga was defeated 2-6, 2-6 on line four. Mata fell 0-6, 0-6 on line five, and Diaz lost 1-6, 0-6 playing on line six
For the women, the 'Roos defaulted on lines two and three in doubles action and also forfeited lines four, five, and six in singles play, giving the Eagles their five points to win the match. Emma Davidson and Bailey Standokes picked up an 8-5 line one doubles victory, and Karsyn Clouse won 6-1, 6-4 playing line one singles. Davidson added a 6-1, 6-1 line two win, with Standokes capping off the day with a 6-0, 6-1 win on line three.
