AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin College men's and women's tennis teams each dropped 9-0 decisions at Concordia University-Texas on Saturday in a non-conference road match.

On the women's side, the team of Maya Leisey and Sierra Thomas fell 8-1 playing flight one doubles, while the duos of Bailey Standokes and Tara Tran, as well as Karina Alvarez and Cynthia Zapata, were each bested 8-0 at lines two and three, respectively. Leisey, Thomas, and Standokes each dropped their singles matches 0-6, 0-6 at lines one through three, and Zapata was also defeated 0-6, 0-6 at line six. On line four, Tran fell 1-6, 1-6 and Alvarez was downed 0-1, 1-6 playing flight five singles.

The 'Roo men dropped their line three doubles match by defeault, and Trey Salyer and AJ Wueste fell 8-2 playing on line one. Neet Gautam and Matthew Fuhr were bested 8-0 playing line two doubles. In singles competition, the 'Roos gave up a point by default at line six, while Salyer fell 0-6, 2-6 on line one. Wueste was defeated 1-6, 3-6 on line two, and Gautam fell 3-6, 0-6 on line three.

In line four competition, Fuhr was defeated 2-6, 0-6, and Ayman Khan dropped his line five match 0-6, 0-6. Next up for the 'Roos is a home date with SCAC rival Texas Lutheran at 1:00 p.m. on March 4.
