LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Austin College women's tennis player has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Singles Player of the Week, the league office has announced.

Francis, a junior from Austin, had a dominant weekend as Austin College hosted and defeated Texas Lutheran, 7-2, in the conference opener for the 'Roos. The junior posted a decisive, 6-3, 6-1 victory over TLU's Elena Branceleon at number one singles to improve to 3-1 on the season. She also paired with Kylie Imperial for a victory playing number one doubles in the match.
