LONGVIEW, Tex. - Women's Tennis was able to shake off an early-morning defeat to UT-Tyler and sweep the YellowJackets of LeTourneau University before heading home to Sherman.

  Katie Seibert and Chandler Morris recorded the first victory of the evening against LETU at Line 3, 8-1.  Melody Duong and Georgia Moore won 8-2 at Line 2 doubles to give the 'Roos at least a 1 match advantage moving into singles, and Anna Sergiovanni & Diana Carvajalino won 8-5 at Line 1 to put AC up 3-0.

  All 6 singles players for Austin College won in straight sets.  Sergiovanni put the Kangaroos up 4-0 by winning the first singles court of the evening, while Diana Carvajalino clinched the match with her 6-1, 6-2 victory at Line 2.  Melody Duong gutted out a 6-4, 6-3 victory at Line 1, and Lines 4-6 lost a combined 6 games between the three matches.

  Austin College has two weeks off before their Spring Break Trip to Portland, OR.  First match on the trip is on March 15th, 2018 against Linfield in McMinnville, OR.  First serve is set for 4:00PM.
