Lady 'Roos Sting Yellow Jackets 9-0
Second win of the year is unblemished as AC sweeps on the road
LONGVIEW, Tex. - With the sun setting as the match began, one of the most comfortably warm nights on the season became one of the most comfortable victories for the Austin College Lady 'Roos; winning 9-0 on the road against LeTourneau University.
Carlye Lide and Katie Barber did not drop a game in either her doubles or singles matches, teaming up to win 8-0 at Line 2 and 6-0, 6-0 at Lines 5 & 6 respectively.
Kirsten Weber and Grace Ortiz moved to 4-2 on the year at Line 1 Doubles, defeating Morisseau/Murry 8-5, and winning both of their singles matches at Lines 1 & 2.
Anamariia Kheveli and Magan Green would team up for the third doubles victory for the 'Roos, and would individually take lines 3&4 6-2, 6-2 and 6-1, 6-0.
Austin College returns home before stepping back out on the courts at the University of Texas at Dallas tomorrow, 2/21 at 1:00pm.
