In the last home match of the season, the Kangaroos did not drop a court; did not drop a set against the Eagles of Texas A&M – Texarkana. Katie Barber improved her spotless singles record this season to 6 and 0 with a 6-0, 6-2 win at Line 5 singles. Magan Green continues to impress with a 6-2, 6-1 win at Line 4 singles, and Grace Ortiz got her first win at Line 1 singles 6-2, 6-1 as well.
Carlye Lide found herself in a tough second set against a formidable Eagle opponent, but found a way to continue to make tennis balls and execute from the net en route to a 6-2, 6-3 victory at Line 3.
Anamarii Kheveli locked in a 6-2 lead after her first set, but was challenged in the second set by an improved resolve from her TAMU-T opponent. Kheveli forced a tiebreaker after falling behind 4-5 and 5-6, but found her groove and sealed the win 6-2, 7-6 (4).
