'Roo Women's Tennis Tops Centenary 8-1

The Austin College women's tennis team earned an easy victory on Saturday, topping visiting Centenary College 8-1 for their third victory of the season. The 'Roos swept doubles action and took five of six singles matches for the win.

Sophie McDonald and Meghan White got an 8-1 win at number one doubles, and Cierra White and Kate Willis cruised to an 8-0 victory at number two doubles. The 'Roos also won number three doubles by default.

In singles action, Cierra White won 6-0, 6-3, while Aardra Venkatachalam won 6-2, 6-0 at number three singles. Anamariia Khevali won 6-0, 6-0 at number four singles, Magan Green won 6-1, 6-0 at number five, and the 'Roos got a default victory at number six singles.
