'Roos Wrap Up Successful Tiger Invitational
SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Austin College men's and women's swim teams wrapped up a solid weekend in the pool at the Tiger Invitational hosted by Trinity University, with several personal bests being set for both the men and the women. The women finished the weekend seventh out of 11 teams with 123 total points, while the men were seventh of eight with 42 points.

The women finished the weekend seventh out of 11 teams with 123 total points, while the men were seventh of eight with 42 points.
Alex Lai established a new personal best in the 100 breaststroke, coming in with a time of 1:00.28, and placed in the finals of the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:08.12. Kamil Murugan also posted a personal best in the 100 freestyle during his leg of the 400 free relay, coming in with a split of 47.5. He also touched with a time of 1:52.47 in the 200 freestyle.
David Stanford added a personal best of his own with a time of 2:13 in the 200 butterfly, dropping four seconds from his time in prelims, while on the women's side, Lexy Hulse posted a personal best of 26.15 in the 40 freestyle, more than four seconds faster than her previous top time. She also finaled in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:09.53, and dropped two seconds from her previous best in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:37.30.
Lola Barcus-Schafer added a pair of personal bests during the course of the meet as well, including a time of 2:08.9 in the 200 freestyle, and 1:05.6 in the 100 backstroke, and Tatyana Arizmendi achieved new bests with times of 2:21.23 in the 200 IM, 5:04.44 in the 400 IM, and she placed fifth overall in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00.56, dropping two seconds from prelims. Joslyn Dimitri also had a strong weekend, with a time of 5:43.62 in the 500 freestyle, 1:04.44 in the 100 butterfly, and 19:50.8 in the 1650 free, all of which establish new top times.
