'Roo Women's Swimming Falls at Colorado College

The Austin College women's swimming and diving team had some strong individual swims but fell to Colorado College 281-84 on Wednesday in Colorado Springs.

Sophie Garriga took Austin College's lone first place finish in the meet, coming in with a time of 5:19.60 in the 400 individual medley. Bailey Clark added a second place finish in the 200 breaststroke, touching with a time of 2:59.18 in the event. Ana Acobyan added a fourth place finish in that same event.

Sarah Edzards added a fourth place finish in the 500 freestyle with a time of 6:36.88, and Garriga had a fourth place finish of her own in the 100 freestyle, finishing with a time of 1:02.99. Garriga rounded out her strong day with a third place finish in the 100 backstroke, coming in with a time of 1:08.38 in the event.
