Women's Swim & Dive Out-Touches 'Storm' 117-110

SHERMAN, Tex. - The echoes could be heard all throughout the Mason Complex as the Women's Swimming and Diving Team logged an epic comeback against the Simpson College Storm on Thursday evening.

With just 3 events remaining, the Kangaroos trailed the Storm by only 10 points.  Then, Sarah Mann blew the competition out of the water by 13 seconds in the 500 Yard Freestyle before Bailey Clark and Jade Ross would take 2nd and 3rd in the 100 Yard Breaststroke.

In the final event of the night, the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay Team of Lauren Wheeler, Caitlyn Brugger, Sophie Anderson, and Sarah Mann touched out the Simpson Relay team by 1.54 seconds to win the meet 117-110.

The win moves AC to their 2nd duel victory of the season, revitalized for this weekend's Austin College Invite.

The meet on Saturday, January 9 at 1pm serves as the Team's Senior Day, so come out to support the upperclassmen that worked so hard to get the program to where it is today.
