Women's Swim & Dive Team Falls to Pirates 162-104
Wheeler takes 1st in 50-free and 100-back, Anderson & Malone finish 1-2 in 1000-meter free, Tuttle & McCarthy take 1st and 2nd in 1-meter dive
SHERMAN, Tex. - In the home opener for the 2015-16 Women's Swimming and Diving season, Austin College took first place in several events, though came up short against the visiting Southwestern Pirates.
Lauren Wheeler kept her successful season going with two 1st place finishes in the 50-meter freestyle and 100-meter backstroke. Sophie Anderson and Keara Malone took 1st and 2nd place respectively in the 1000-meter freestyle.
Margaux McCarthy took 1st place in the 3-meter diving competition, and finished 2nd place to her teammate, Katherine Tuttle, in the 1-meter diving competition.
The next meet for Austin College will be a double-dual at home on Homecoming Saturday, November 14th vs. St. Gregory's and Colorado College. First event begins at 12:00pm.
