The Pirates managed to get on the board early, as Sydney Boswell tallied in the 14th minute of action to make it a 1-0 game. That goal was just the second given up all season by the 'Roos. Southwestern continued on the offensive throughout the opening half, holding an 11-to-5 shot advantage, but Austin College came out as the aggressor after halftime.
