Austin College controlled possession for much of the game, and the action was kept mostly to the 'Roos offensive third in the opening half but Hendrix managed to keep things scoreless. The 'Roos fired 10 shots in the first half, getting half of those looks on target, but Warriors keeper Bron Adams stopped all five that came her way. In the second half, the Warriors started to find more offensive chances, with three of their four shots on goal in the match coming after halftime.
The 'Roos, meanwhile, kept up the offensive aggression, getting 10 more shots after the break but once again both defenses kept things scoreless. Austin College finished the game with a 20-to-10 shot advantage, with Adams making eight saves for Hendrix while Kenedie Lane made four stops to earn her fourth shutout of the year, setting a new career-best for the four-year starter.
Next up for Austin College is a trip to Arkansas, where they 'Roos will take on Lyon College on Friday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
