SUWANEE, Ga. - Austin College women's soccer player Rylie Balderas has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office has announced.
SUWANEE, Ga. - Austin College women's soccer player Rylie Balderas has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office has announced.
Balderas, a first-year midfielder from Rockwall, had a huge week for Austin College, tallying once in a win over Arlington Baptist and adding four assists over three fixtures. Balderas had three assists against ABU and added the fourth assist on the team's game-winner over Millsaps, helping the 'Roos to a 4-0-1 overall record, the best start for the 'Roos since 2010, and a 3-0 mark last week. In total, Balderas led the SCAC with six points on one goal and four assists. Balderas currently leads the SCAC in assists and is third in total points.
