It didn't take long for the 'Roos to get on the board, as Myles McGaha took a through ball and beat the ABU keeper to make it 1-0 in the third minute of action. McGaha scored again a minute and a half later on a feed from Emeri Watson to make it 2-0. Emma Boehmke got on the board in the 18th minute, knocking in a corner kick from Rylie Balderas, and Sarae Perez scored from distance just over two minutes later to make it a 4-0 game.
Shakira Williams notched her first goal in an Austin College uniform in the 26th minute, with Balderas once again assisting, and Balderas got in the scoring column herself just under six minutes later to make it a 6-0 game. Austin College tacked on one more goal before halftime, with Layla Mireles finding Rebekah Gutierrez in the 39th minute, and the 'Roos would head into the break leading 7-0. Austin College took its foot off the gas in the second half, but was able to get one more tally on the scoreboard as Paulina Porter launched a 25-yarder over the outstretched hands of Patriots keeper Kennedy Magby at the 56:16 mark. The 'Roos finished the game out-shooting ABU 45-to-2, putting 23 shots on target in the victory.
