Three From Women's Soccer Earn All-SCAC

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Three members of the Austin College women's soccer team have been named All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference performers for their outstanding play during the 2021 spring season, the league office has announced. Meredith Harris was named first team All-SCAC, while Sydney Padget was a second team selection and Dajia Campbell was named both honorable mention and to the All-Freshman Team.

Harris, a junior goalkeeper from Mansfield, was a first team All-Conference pick after leading the SCAC with 71 saves and finishing third in the conference woth a .910 save percentage. Harris surrendered just seven goals in more than 600 minutes minding the net for the 'Roos. She also received one vote for SCAC Defensive Player of the Year.

Padget, a junior midfielder from Keller, was outstanding throughout the year for Austin College on her way to earning All-SCAC honors. Padget was stellar defensively while also contributing to the team's offensive efforts, creating a number of scoring opportunities and finishing the year with an assist.

Campbell, a freshman forward from Frisco, tied for the team lead with two goals this season, including one game-winner. She put three of her four shot attempts this season on goal, and was a threat throughout the season on her way to being named both honorable mention and All-Freshman Team.
