Women's Soccer Notches First SCAC Win
The Austin College women's soccer team broke through with its first Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory on Friday, topping the University of Dallas 1-0 in Irving. The 'Roos are now 3-7-1 overall and 1-4-1 in conference play.

The Austin College women's soccer team broke through with its first Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory on Friday, topping the University of Dallas 1-0 in Irving. The 'Roos are now 3-7-1 overall and 1-4-1 in conference play.
After a scoreless first half, Austin College finally broke the scoreless tie in the 71st minute of action on a goal by Kyli Scott. It was Scott's second goal of the season, and also her second game-winner. The decisive tally was assisted by Tori Strunk and Ashley Rice.
Laura McGee earned her fourth clean sheet of the season, stopping seven shots in goal as Austin College held a 17-14 advantage in the match.
