The Austin College women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision at Schreiner University on Friday afternoon. The loss brings the 'Roos to 2-6-1 overall and 1-3 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play.
Schreiner got on the board midway through the first half with a tally in the 24th minute of action, and that remained the score until the 83rd minute when Heidi Workmon punched in a loose ball to make it a 2-0 and ice the match for the Mountaineers.
Austin College next heads to San Antonio to take on No. 2-ranked Trinity University.
