The Austin College women's soccer team got a goal from Mandi Sherwood in the 15th minute of action and that would be all they'd need, holding off Schreiner 1-0 to pick up their seventh win of the year. The 'Roos are 7-6 overall and 3-4 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

The winning goal came in the 15th minute of action when Myranda Baumgartner found Sherwood for the tally, and Austin College was able to clamp down defensively and hold the Mountaineers scoreless the rest of the way. The 'Roos held an 8-5 shot advantage in the game, with Franchesca Lozoya earning the shutout by making four saves in goal.
