Erin Eckart tallied in the 105th minute to give the Austin College women's soccer team a dramatic 2-1 victory at LeTourneau, making the 'Roos 3-0 to open the season for the first time since 2010. The game-winner was the first career goal for the freshman from Norman, Oklahoma.

The 'Roos came out firing, getting off four shots before the first attempt for LeTourneau, and the early offense led to a 38th minute goal from Kyli Scott on an assist from Tori Strunk to send Austin College into halftime leading 1-0. That remained the score until the 71:02 mark, when the Jackets knotted things up on a goal from Raylene Gould.

Each team was able to get some strong chances down the stretch, but Austin College keeper Franchesca Lozoya and LeTourneau goalie Jamie Aguillen kept the offenses at bay and sent the game into overtime still squared at 1-1.

After a scoreless first overtime, the 'Roos got the golden goal from Eckart at the 104:25 mark. Eckart's first career goal and game winner came on her third shot attempt of the game.

Lozoya, who earlier today was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, made seven saves for the 'Roos.
