'Roo Women's Soccer Eliminated from SCAC Tournament

The Austin College women's soccer team saw its season come to a close on Saturday evening, falling 7-0 to top seeded Trinity in the SCAC semifinals.

The Austin College women's soccer team saw its 2012 season come to a close on Saturday evening, falling 7-0 to top seeded Trinity University in the semifinals of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament in Georgetown.

Trinity jumped on top just under three minutes into the game and added another tally in the 15th minute, and it would stay 2-0 until the Tigers scored just before halftime to make it 3-0. Trinity added four goals in the second half to make it a 7-0 final, including three scores in the final 18 minutes.

Francesca Lozoya made seven saves for the 'Roos.
