'Roo Women's Soccer Tops Centenary in SCAC Tourney
The Austin College women's soccer team defeated Centenary 2-0 in the first round of the SCAC Tournament on Friday evening, and advance to face top seeded Trinity tomorrow.

The Austin College women's soccer team scored twice in the first seven minutes and that's all they would need, topping Centenary College 2-0 in the first round of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament in Georgetown on Friday night. The 'Roos face top seeded Trinity tomorrow in the semifinals.
Tyler Marquez scored on a feed from Ariel Marder at the 5:42 mark, and Sydney Redding tallied less than a minute later to make it 2-0. Marder again had the assist. Francesca Lozoya stopped both shots she faced to earn the shutout.
