'Roo Women's Soccer Wins in Double Overtime
Abby Saizow's goal in double overtime gave the Austin College women's soccer team a dramatic 2-1 road victory over Centenary College on Saturday in Shreveport.

The Austin College women's soccer team got a goal from Abby Saizow in the 104th minute of action to give the 'Roos a dramatic 2-1 double overtime victory over Centenary College on Saturday in Shreveport. The 'Roos are now 5-10-1 overall with the win.
Tyler Marquez put the 'Roos on the board first when she scored on a feed from Ariel Marder in the 20th minute of action, and Austin College maintained their lead until the 70th minute when Centenary equalized. The score remained 1-1 through the first overtime and into the second extra frame, when Saizow scored on an assist from Lauren Scott at the 103:05 mark to give the 'Roos the win.
Emily Brockette had a pair of saves in the victory as Austin College owned an 18-10 shot advantage.
