Two From 'Roo Women's Hoops Earn All-SCAC

IRVING, Texas - Austin College women's basketball players Lexi Martin and Brooklyn Matthews have each been named Honorable Mention All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference performers for their outstanding play during the 2024-25 season, the league office has announced.

Martin, a sophomore guard from Sanger, earned her All-Conference accolades following a year in which she led the 'Roos with an average of 11.3 points-per-game, knocking down a team-high 49 three pointers and making 74.1% of her free throw attempts. She also averaged 3.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.5 steals-per-game this year.

Matthews, a junior center from Conroe, was named All-Conference after leading the 'Roos with 7.6 rebounds-per-game and finishing second on the team with 9.2 point-per-game. She also finished among the SCAC leaders with a field goal percentage of 52.9%, and added 1.6 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 0.9 steals-per-game.
