After the 'Roos went into the second quarter trailing 15-10, the Tornadoes used a big second quarter to open up a commanding halftime lead, outscoring the 'Roos 18-8 in the period to head into the half with the score 33-18. Austin College won the third quarter 20-16 to cut it to 49-38 heading into the fourth, but the 'Roos were unable to close the gap in the final 10 minutes of action. Brooklyn Matthews came off the bench to pace the 'Roos with 16 points and 10 rebounds, making 7-of-9 shots, and Lexi Martin chipped in 13 points. Trinity Williams added 11 points and five boards.
Austin College shot just 32.8% from the field in the game and made only 3-of-18 threes, while Concordia knocked down six triples and made 40.4% of their attempts from the field. Destiny Matthews led all scorers with 30 points and 17 rebounds for the Tornados.
